The Benefits of Solar Panels
Money Saving
Store the energy to use when needed and get paid for any unused energy to maximise savings.
Solar energy is a fully renewable source of energy and does not release harmful gasses and reduces your carbon footprint.
Solar products have a lifetime warranty and require very little to no maintenance, keeping your energy going for decades.
Switching to solar means you will be protecting yourself against the big utility providers and their price increases. Keep your bills low with solar.

How Solar Energy Storage Works
How much will solar panels cost me?
An individual solar panel can cost anywhere from £300-500 depending on the size and efficiency of the product. A 4kW solar panel network capable of providing electricity for a family of 4 and covering roughly 30 square metres of the roof will cost roughly £6,000.
Do solar panels need direct sunlight to work?
While solar panels operate at their peak efficiency during direct sunlight, they do not require constant sunshine to produce energy, working during cloudy weather and even the winter.
Do you have enough space?
Space is a key consideration. The average system size is around 3.5kWp and this will typically take up around 20m2 roof area.
An unshaded, South facing roof is ideal for maximum electrical output. East or West-facing roofs could still be considered, but North-facing roofs are not recommended. A system facing East or West will yield around 15-20% less energy than one facing directly South.
Solar Panel FAQs
How long does it take to install solar panels?
Depending on the size and number of panels that are needed to power a property, the installation process can often be accomplished within a single day, with larger panels and surface areas requiring an additional day's work to get up and running.
How much money will solar panels save me?
When your solar panels are active, any electricity that you use is entirely free and can save up to £450 annually.
Additional savings on your energy bills can be made by using high-powered appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers and dryers while panels are online, or by selling excess energy to your energy suppliers through a 'Feed-in Tariff' (FIT) government initiative.
